General Education Credits and Graduation Requirements

  • General Education and Graduation Requirements  can be found by program.
  • Bachelor’s degree requirements include 30 semester credits of general education credits  to include:
    • One course in English Composition or written communications (ENG 100).
    • One course in mathematics from intermediate algebra or higher-level mathematics course (MTH 300).
  • Credits satisfying general education credits:
    • Credits for courses satisfying transfer school’s general education requirements.
    • Credits for courses satisfying Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA).
    • Other applicable courses/credits as indicated.
  • MTA is not required to satisfy general education requirements.
  • Courses satisfying general education credits may be an equivalent course as indicated.
  • All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” 2.00 or higher for credits to transfer.
  • Credits transfer based on credits of course at transfer school.
