IT 445 - Programming for Data Analysis This course provides an introduction to a modern programming language that allows statistical queries to be incorporated in programmed data queries. Students will learn basic syntax and techniques and will incorporate that knowledge into statistical programming and reporting.

Prerequisite(s): QM 202 .
Outcomes
- Identify programming packages and libraries for statistical data analysis problems.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of best practices in data for integration and transformation.
- Develop programs and scripts for performing statistical data analysis.
- Create basic statistical models, data visualization and plots for data analysis problems.
- Develop professional communication skills in application of real-world data analysis problems.
