ENG 100 - English Composition


This course introduces students to the fundamentals of college-level writing. Students will develop critical reading, writing, and research skills while exploring the writing process from brainstorming to polished drafts. Emphasis is placed on rhetorical awareness, genre exploration, research integration, and reflective practice. Students will complete a portfolio demonstrating growth as writers and communicators across academic and personal contexts.

  • Compose clear and coherent essays across multiple genres that demonstrate audience awareness and purpose.
  • Define and apply stages of the writing process to produce polished academic writing.Identify and integrate credible sources using appropriate APA7 citation style to support written arguments
