ACC 517 - Advanced Accounting Analytics
This course is an advanced accounting analytics course that enhances Excel analytics skills and introduces Tableau and PowerBI. Students will prepare data, perform analysis, and create visualizations in various accounting scenarios, such as audit, managerial accounting, and taxation.

Prerequisite(s):
ACC 532 or ACC 303 .
Outcomes
- Use the IMPACT model to address business questions.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and PowerBI to perform data analysis in an accounting context.
- Communicate results of analysis in a clear and understandable format, both in chart/graphical form, as well as written.
