ACC 525 - Advanced Information Systems and Controls This course explores accounting information systems as a conduit to providing reliable accounting information for financial reporting. Students consider the theoretical construction of creating policies and procedures while using technology to compile and access accounting data and information on a timely basis. Particular attention is given to establishing appropriate controls relating to transactions procedures, database control and appropriate audit practices.
