MGT 406 - Small Business Legal and Tax Issues This course is a study of various legal and tax issues faced by small business owners with emphasis on certain regulatory and compliance requirements that are imposed by government agencies at the federal, state, and local level. Students will become familiar with those legal and tax requirements to successfully comply with them as they plan to organize and operate their small business.

- Compare the differences in types of business organizations available for entrepreneurs.
