MGT 462 - Global Work Environments This course is designed to explore and examine the world of work as seen through a multicultural lens. Special emphasis will be placed on the forces of change that have created a dynamic, multicultural, and socially diverse workforce. In addition, an exploration of how the interplay of economics, legislation, politics, consumerism, and organizational complexity have created not only opportunities and challenges in the workplace.

Outcomes
- Critically analyze how historical, political, economic, and social forces have shaped the evolution of the multicultural workforce.
- Evaluate the challenges and opportunities created by globalization and workforce demographics for organizational strategy and operations.
- Apply ethical reasoning frameworks to assess organizational responses to multicultural workforce issues, including fair employment practices and social responsibility.
- Communicate complex ideas clearly and professionally through written reports and oral presentations on multicultural workforce topics.
- Demonstrate an awareness of cultural influences in workplace decision making and propose strategies for fostering socially responsible work environments.
- Develop and defend data informed recommendations for navigating multicultural challenges in a dynamic workforce.
